Just curious, why did Literotica reject your stories? Based on your reference to guns below, did it have something to do with the depiction of violence? From what other people have said, Lit's policy on violence can be inconsistent. There are just too many submissions here for Laurel to read them all carefully. There is another site that has several moderators who read stories very closely, but it can take two or three weeks to get approval. But, yes, they are very picky about violence.
Gun calibers: whatever the topic is, there will be some reader out there who has deep knowledge of it. From what little I know, when you mentioned long-range and .50 caliber ammunition, I assume you were referring to a sniper rifle.
Yes, it was a short story (less than 1k words) on a sniper. There was no extensive description of the shooting itself, I had it proofread by three different people, ran it through two different grammar checkers and it got rejected for grammar issues.
I don't want to slam the site, I mean, I am here every day, writing Roleplays on the Online and Sexual threads and I am enjoying myself. So if stories get posted here and it is in the genres that I like, I read them as I get time. As I said, don't want to slam the site at all.
