I don't know about today as opposed to any other day, but I think at any given time there are lots of Litsters who are dealing with all kinds of challenges and tough times in their lives. To anyone out there who is suffering and reading this, I hope you find a way to hang in there and get whatever it is you need to see you through to the other side. You can do it, even when you feel like you can't.

Apparently, posting about chronic pain is equal to a thread being dead, or unsafe to comment in. The lack of empathy in this place, and the vitriol and cynicism that people are capable of is utterly outstanding.

I logged out for a while rather than deal with that...but it seems like everyone is more even-keeled tonight.
