I don't really keep lists of sexual things I want to do. (I've been sexually active for forty years, LOL, I have pretty much checked all the boxes that interest me.) So, I really don't have an answer to this one.

I grew up living in the country, so there were a whole raft of tasks related to that (having a septic system, maintaining your own well, etc.). I live in a townhouse in a city now, so all of that is irrelevant.

Gut feeling. Instinct. Intuition. I've sheltered strangers and homeless people over the years, just going with my gut. Acquaintances and friends know that I have a spare bedroom and they're welcome to it. If one of my friends or acquaintances vouches for them, that is good enough for me.

I went on a job interview for a company that seemed really sketchy and I decided I didn't want to work there. When they called to offer me the job I turned it down, but told my wife I didn't get the offer (we were struggling and we didn't have much breathing room for me to be picky). I didn't tell her until a few weeks later when I took a job at a much better place.
