not that i am/was a huge fan...

But as a child of the 90's, I find the sound of Green Day very soothing..

God (or whoever) bless.

I missed Rosco. :(

I got my Christmas Cards signed and addressed. I'll send them on Friday.

Damn, I did too.

Pookie must have sent me her rain. Hooray!! Think it's a good night for a fire.

Tracking Christmas package delivery is great for the most part except when the delivery is scheduled two days away and is delivered two days early when I'm not at home giving some sticky fingered bastard of a thief an opportunity to steal a present. Gotta be a special place in hell for people so greedy...grrr!
Agreed. Luckily the business next to mine received it.
How you doin??

She's gooooood, and has a mate. ;)
Those look sa-weet!
Tis
If he only had two turntables.
I do, but only one works...
Where its at!
I'm where its at.
Donald is gonna get on you for that Chinese stuff...looks good though....I just ordered a 4 jaw chuck for my lathe..oh, and some cannabis
Sounds like good things for you. Enjoy!!!
But does it go to eleven?
That's more of an amplifier thing...
Being Chinese made that bungee cord will last for maybe 4 uses.
A friend of mine works for the company and I have other mics they make. Here's the thing about manufacturing in China. They will make things to whatever tolerances and levels of QC that the client desires. I believe sE even has their own plant in China, and their gear is not farmed out.

They come with a 2 year warranty with an extra year if I register. I ain't worried in the slightest.

They 'say' they will manufacture to whatever tolerances and levels of QC that the client desires. Chinese manufacturing is barely able to meet any exacting standards of QC. And corruption there is rife.

You might get lucky but that is what it will be 'luck'.

sE Electronics is a know entity and a very close friend works for them. I'm willing to wager any amount that these mics will perform as they should for many years to come. These aren't cheap starter mics or toys. These are professional tools.

I've seen professional wood chisels with Chinese steel have some horrendous QC issues like real soft spots in them. I don't trust Chinese products for high quality. Middling quality and low prices, yes. And such things do have their place.

"They" used to say that about japanese-made products until japanese-made products were eating our lunch because of their superior quality. Then they said that about the Koreans until the Korean started eating our lunch. Measuring things and deciding whether they do or don't meet any particular exacting tolerance specification is not rocket science.

Chinese factories, like the post-war Japanese ones have the advantage of being of recent vintage and equipped with the latest equipment.
