I almost got into a fist fight today at the barbershop. All because I said fuck Black Lives Matters. Heard the word sell out heard that I'm not black and a whole lot of other bullshit. I understand the principle of black Lives matters, but it's still kinda racist in it's own way. Like my mans Kevin Gates said, "Only thing worse than a nigga is another one".

That being said fuck all cops too. There is a lot of police brutality in the ghetto. Cops do do whatever they want to us. I been in that jam millions of times. So I have zero sympathy to those cops that lost their lives in Dallas. Fuck em. But black lives isn't the only lives that matters, all do. But as blacks we just get the short end of the stick, so we're going to cry out more. Dig?

Sometimes it is not worth the consequences of fighting, so I choose my battles carefully.

I live near where the Minnesota shooting happened. That police department pulls everyone over, I don't understand why their guns were drawn, I don't understand why they shot him and especially why they let him bleed out.
I am waiting to see the outcome.

I watch some of what happened during the coup in Turkey tonight on a live stream as it happened. I was amazed at the restraint of the police and soldiers there.
They were in serious danger, and they shot into the air, not at people. at one point the police were shooting at the jets, but not at the protesters.

Last weekend during the protest and riot on the highway here, the police were threatened, 21 of them were hurt but they did not shoot anyone. They did use gas to break it up after many hours, when it was getting very violent. Granted, those police were probably not the same level of police that would be used for a traffic stop.

I don't hate the police, but I am wary of them. You do not grow up as I did and think they are your friend. Some are good, some are bad, most are just normal humans like everyone else.

I been in a couple of raids. Having a copy gun in your face isn't a good feeling. They can point weapons at you and if you move a certain way they can shoot you and call it justice. Cops do face consequences when they clearly shoot someone without justification. Usually. But some of them are assholes, for sure.

I've found black cops have treated me better than white cops. I think cops think they can treat "their own" any way they want and get away with it easier. And they're right about it, too.

I remember when I was a juvenile I came home drunk and started arguing with my mother, I was about 15 or 16. I ended up fighting my uncles, my mother's brothers. They were living with us at the time. So my mother called the cops, but by the time they got to the house I was passed out drunk on the living room floor. I'm assuming my uncle left because they have warrants or some shit, I wish I would of left too. But this black dickhead cop comes in and started kicking me like " get up and go in your room ". I just got finished fighting so I'm riled up, so I jumped up and asked the nigga did he just put his feet on me. He said some shit like if you don't want me putting my feet on you, you shouldn't be on the floor. I told him that this is my house and I can lay on the floor if I want too. So he said if I get back on the floor he is going to put his feet on me again. I said if you put your feet on me again, imma get up and pop your ass. I laid back down and he really had the nerve to put his feet on me again. I didn't want to hit him because I knew the consequences, but I told him it was going to be a problem if he put his feet on me and I try to be a man of my word. I got up and threw a drunk ass haymaker and swung so hard that I spent around. He slipped it tho and I never been suplex that fast in my life. But the moral of the story is, what gave him the right to come in my house and put his feet on me? But if my punch would've connected I probably still be locked up. And I was a minor.
