I'm now thinking that Lynch met with Bill Clinton on the plane to let the Clinton campaign know that, yes, an indictment would be nixed on 5 July--so that Obama could campaign with Hillary for the first time in North Carolina later that day without an indictment hanging over her head and complicating his appearing with her--but that Hillary was going to have to live with being dressed down in public by the FBI director for being careless rather than criminal. Not really a clear win for her, as the "careless" judgment will appear in as many commercials now as Trump's campaign can pay his own advertising agency to create (making a profit out of all this still being Trumps priority). It's probably the public wrist slap she deserves too (and a finger can be shaken at Rice and Powell on this too). Now, if she can just swallow it as a lesson and say she'll be more careful in the future, she's still come across as a lot less of a loose cannon than Trump is--every time he opens his mouth.

Polls in July mean little in terms of the November outcome. Hillary is probably glad this shoe had dropped before the convention. Trump's court date hangs over his head through the election--and the IRS may add some court dates to that. He's gotten awfully creative with his campaign fundraising and accounting.
