Well, if Ted Cruz got voted into the presidency we could set our clocks back 60 years and enact the hate legislation to bring back the good old to days to the conservative white Bircher rich boys' club. These are not your normal Republicans. They support radical regimes like Nigeria and Belize where imprisonment and capital punishment are the penalties for being gay. Think very careful about how you vote. They may say they are just about lowering taxes and bringing the deficit down but there is a vile despicable underbelly of hate that belies their true intentions. Why does the party that says they are the party of freedom and increased liberty want to legislate the bedroom? It's sure understandable why the Republicans eat their own the last few election cycles when such hatred and religious intolerance and extremism has commandeered the GOP. Until the Tea Party splits from the GOP the Republicans won't have a serious presidential candidate. Witness the backwoods redneck Honey Boo Boo, Duck Dynasty true GOP convention which is CPAC.

California would lose billions in revenue & taxes if all the gays were banished from the State. They seem to have a lot of incredibly stupid laws & regulations that are costing them serious money.

They've already destroyed their movie & tv industry with high taxes & regulations. It's cheaper to film elsewhere.

Politicians have repeatedly tried introducing violent videogame legislation. Don't they even realize how many high paying tech jobs are in the game industry, especially in their State?

The porn industry condom legislation is forcing a lot of business out of the San Fernando Valley to Las Vegas & elsewhere. Last time I checked, the Porn Industry generates over 100 billion worldwide.

And that's just a couple off the top of my head. There is probably a lot more.

That's a lil closer to home...but once again there is always a naysayer, the legislation didn't happen and it won't for the simple reason there IS so much money behind it.

Probably.......but pick a state and I'll dig up all kinds of absolutely bat-fuckin-shit legislation that has been proposed there. From Theocratic bible thumping conservinut to mao worshiping kookooCommie land people propose all sorts of insane shit all the time.

This is as DOA as a "Lynch all the darkies" bill and imo just a Lawyer looking to get all the vettemans to send him money, scoop up a lil coverage. Hey he could even run for office in certain CA counties after this....work his way up. Wouldn't be the first politician to get started pulling a stunt like this, wouldn't be the last.
