In the past, I got sucked into the bigger/better phone craze....

And tbh, I have no idea why.
I have a tablet that i carry everywhere, so why do I need a phone that does the exact same thing?
My phone died so I went looking for a replacement and have ended up with a little Sony Experia - which does everything I need in a phone (calls and texts) and cost me all of $79 outright.
Plus, I get better reception in more places and the speaker rocks.
No more contracts or wasted dollars

Now - if I can just figure out how to turn off predictive text, as evidenced by the title, all would be perfect!

I have a fatass bigger/better phone, six inches of quad core tech, QHD display, camera with 4k vid capability, and full mobile office capabilities with the right apps. I couldn't be more pleased with it. It's the only device I have with me when I travel. Plus a good bluetooth mic if I know I'll need to record audio with decent quality.

I used to pack a laptop, a wireless broadband modem, a DSL camera, a separate wireless mic set, my old phone and a shitload of chargers. But now I only slip that baby into my pocket and it's all I need.

So you bought a phone to carry around even though the tablet you carry around can make callsand texts?

I just went, in the last couple of weeks, from an iPhone 4S and a flip phone for work to an iPhone 6plus and a Droid Maxx. I like them both. They are sooooo much faster. The droid is a hotspot and faster than I imagined. I get 25Mbps download with that thing in my area.

I like the new phones, but I'm usually pretty good at waiting. It was over three years since my last one and it had turned to shit.
