Tomorrow's (July 14's) first post will be the first of my second decade as a member here, and post #14,000. (Yes, I've been keeping track the last couple of weeks to come out with an even thousand to start the new decade. A little CDO {OCD alphabetized}, anyone?)

I've "met" some wonderful people here. Almost all of you have given me smiles and laughs at various times, and many of you have touched my heart with your lives and supported me when I was at down points in my life. You are all a part of my life, and will be.

Some of you have been special friends without whom I'd never have lasted this long here.

Thank you all for putting up with me for so long.

WOW... I know you for ten years! Seems like yesterday. Hey, thanks for being my friend and virtually holding my hand through some of the most painful stuff I have ever been through and some of the happiest of times in my life. Although we have never officially met each other I feel you are as close to me as the daddies are...well not in the way they are but you know what I mean.

I've thought about posting to this thread, but I didn't know what to say. I celebrated my 10 year Lit anniversary a couple of years ago. I don't think I noticed it until it had gone by. It was kind of an after thought celebration.

I started my time here in the Author's Hangout. Being a writer or story teller, it seemed I should hang out there. But, because my stories were all about BDSM activity, I eventually landed here. It was a rough beginning, but I won't go into that. It's become home. I've ventured back to the AH a couple of times, but it just doesn't feel the same as it once did. Oh well.

SW, let's cut through the crap. We're both old. I've enjoyed how the Talk forum has become such a big draw to newbies, and I think most of the new regulars here are good ones. But, everything in life has cycles and I sometimes wonder if they will keep up the good work that's begun here. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

We've shared time as forum police and you have led the charge as the head grammar Nazi. You've actually kept me on my toes, even if you didn't know. Trust me, spell check only goes so far. I've often gone back and read my posts a second time, quickly fixing my mistakes.

You've taken a liking of my music and that is always special to a musician. I hate to boast about anything I do, but it still thrills me when someone notices. You actually joined Soundcloud and keep track. I appreciate that.

I don't know about you, but I plan on being around a while. Frankly, I have nowhere else to go, so you all are stuck with me. I hope we're stuck with you, too.
