How do you keep from getting jaded?
To me, the jaded feeling seems cyclical. It comes and stays for a while and then leaves again in it's own time.
Since I can't seem to find anything that makes it leave faster, I mostly just wait it out.
Mine doesn't cycle. Everything feels like its on repeat, the same boring shit over and over and over again. Nothing is new under the sun.
Get away from the sex sites (including Fet.) get into a hiking club or some other of your interests. Meet people who don't have sex as their only objective.
HEY! I remember someone giving me the same advice (except put "animal rescue" where "hiking" is) yep, that was you. Good advice.
BTW, you're too young to be jaded anyway.
I liked what kitten said and like totally agree with her![]()

Get obsessed with something else for a while. And if it turns out that you want to come back to the thing afterward, there's nothing wrong with having a love-hate with it. In fact, I'm pretty suspicious of people who unquestionably love anything.
Whenever I crochet, I tend to go nuts and crochet A LOT. I lose interest and put it all away for awhile. I pick up other interests and busy myself with life.
I pick up the yarn and needle when I see something I want to make. A stylish new scarf or hat? I've never done that stitch before! Usually, to get back into it I need a project that requires me to learn something new and give me a stylish reward to add to my wardrobe.
Perhaps you have to step back. Find something that requires you to learn, possibly master.
Wonderful advice.
I might also add you could do volunteer work, maybe at a hospital or food bank, it can be very rewarding. Maybe visit some older folks at a nursing home, you'd be amazed at how much you can learn about life from the aged and they really are thankful for your company.
What about when that does not work. I come back, and right away its like this shit again...
Don't come back?
Can't reverse entropy.
Pretend BDSM/the scene/whatever it is that you're throwing an emotional fit over right now and just pretend it's an ex. You have to get over it and move on someday if it wasn't meant to be. I get that people around here love to throw about "I was born this way!!1" as an excuse, but either way... you're kind of allowed to stop doing something permanently.

I can't do that, I'm a guy.
"Does not work" but you'd be doing something you ENJOY. You can't lose, right?
Another suggestion, there are a ton of fake profiles on Fet. Stop the online chat with the young girls and get to a munch. Meet people your age.
(Says the girl who's frustrated with online crap herself)
and you think with your, oh never mind.
