As the title says, what makes a good paddle? And I don't mean the act but the implement.

I'd like to hear from both ends of the handle.

What design features and materials do you like? What about dimensions? Do you have different paddles you like for different reasons?

Do you have recommended vendors?

Thanks in advance! :) :devilish:

We've 3 different ones.
One is wodden, broad around 7-8 cm, long 12-13 cm plus handle. One side is flat, the other corrugated. The pain goes deep in ass cheeks and causes tomato red big spots. The corrugated side hurts more.
The second is leather with plain rivets on both side. It's around 15 cm long and 4 cm broad. Its not so painful on ass, but stings on thighs.
Last one is also leather, aroubd 23 cm long abd 2-3 cm slim. It leaves clear visible spurs on ass and thighs, is middle painful, but very painful on my balls, which my wife loves to hit with it exactly

A dowel, heavy enough to crush and bruise but thin and flexible enough to raise welts and split skin.

Don't like leather ones, never have. All slappy and weird feeling. Leather is for straps and belts.

Thick and wooden are what works on me. Various sizes, ideally a little one for vary focussed work and then a big flat one to cover everything.
