I don't think I was acting like a newbie. As I said, I have been lurking for awhile. Perhaps I mis-spoke somewhat. I was probably not attacked for being a newbie so much as for being an outsider. I just was not one of their exclusive gang.

Oddly enough, I DID stand up for myself, called them on their shitty posts and actually got something of an apology from more than one of them. Now THAT is something I had not seen before. So it really took me by surprise. Maybe just standing firm on my posts and calling bullshit when I saw it posted caused them to take a step back. And dare I say it - one of them actually apologized with a compliment!

Granted I am new. So my number of 'good' pms is from a rather small sampling. But I did get one this afternoon that still has me smiling.

Someone saw my post in this very thread. Wrote me a nice PM. And closed it with the following:

"and if you post this on the thread your in big trouble"

:D

Ok so I will not list his name or any other identifying parts of his PM. But it was cute and he was quite nice.

I think they test people over there. When I first went wandering I knew what the GB was like, it was part of the draw. I was tickled when they decided to give me my first blood.

Ooh should never use elecro play above the waist anyway, even a small current across the chest could cause problems, which is nature's way of telling you where to play me thinks:devil:...far more fun ewg
