Again, it's not a gendered thing. There are plenty of men that harbor grudges.

Memorable moments, absolutely. The specific emotion tied to that memory may have subdued, but I still remember what happened.

Depends on the prompt/question being asked about said memory. If someone asks a specific question, I can generally give very specific details.

Not partnered, so not currently a concern of mine. When I was partnered, I never had trouble remembering the things they liked, because I liked/loved them, and what they liked was important to me.

What was the biggest thing in a relationship that you forgot about and had to be reminded of?

Nothing; remembering the big (and small) things my previous partners liked wasn't a huge undertaking for me. Those facts were always kinda tucked in the back of my head, and when an opportunity presented itself to surprise them with something they mentioned they enjoyed, I generally did it for them.

No. I think people remember what’s important to them and since that varies from person to person the memories are different and or absent. There was some interesting research a while ago about crime witnesses. The general idea is that human memory is shitty and highly malleable.

To answer the question:

My memory kicks about two. I remember entirely scenarios in detail: timelines, conversations, and people, in depth. As a child, I would reference some previous conversation and when others wouldn't remember I would think they were lying.

I was an adult before I realized, they really did not remember.

Conversations, particularly. Anything that catches my attention. I don't necessarily recall verbatim, but it's not uncommon for me to remember particularly important sentences, and I absolutely remember the back and forth in its entirety.

Now numbers or dates? Forget about it. I do remember birthdays I learned as a child, but that power turned off by late adolescence.

I'm also quite scatterbrained with it comes to short term multi-tasking.

Lists. I learned that from my mother. She lived by steno note pad and pen.

Unfortunately that doesn't help with my keys. I mislay those things a dozen times a day.
