At my club we have some rare trees, Black Poplars. Very old and look much like ancient oaks and they're sexed - male and female trees. The ones on our site are male but there's some female just a mile away. So I've been learning how to take cuttings and I'm meaning to have a go in the next week or so. I'm excited to be able to grow trees that might live 200 hundred years.

When I started posting stories, and soon after posting to various forums about titillating subjects, I was surprised at the number of private messages I received. They tend to be the same: older men in sexless marriages looking to have private conversations, etc. Mostly, they are harmless, and I have compassion for them (if what they write is true) . But then came the overt sexual propositions. Those shook me as I never asked for that kind of communication. The worst was a post to one of my stories where the author of the post had a shockingly accurate description of my real life. They seemed to know my real profession and other details I did not share. I reviewed everything I've ever posted, and yes, they could divine some of that from my posts and stories, but not enough to draw a detailed analysis of me. That one creeped me out. It came as a comment to one of my stories, and I immediately deleted it and then considered deleting my account. Has anyone else had someone come close to knowing your real world self?

Geo-location is a real thing and AI is going to make it easier. If the outfit you're wearing can be matched against a retailer, region, age group then AI is also going to look at the furniture, carpets ...
My sister had a stalker in her teens and we got advice from a very savvy police intelligence adviser. That was 15 years ago, but one thing he said was never post pictures of yourself online - period. I've never had a facebook and get quite shitty if friends photograph me without asking. There will always be creeps out there, so don't aid them.

Not that everything has to be “healthier”, but just for fun you can try making them with chickpea flour. It has more fiber and protein, so it buffers the glucose/insulin response in addition to the higher nutrient content. I bet the flavor would work well with zucchini, too!

I’ll look into that!

On the plus side neither of us have regained any lost weight due to stress eating so that’s good. My bigger jeans are now loose enough that they fall off without a belt. (In a literal sense, not a sex sense) and my tight jeans now fit!
