Women of Lit: A Safe Place To Share

I don't know if people still do this where I live, but there is an old tradition of weaving pine branches together into a "blanket" that is laid over a loved ones grave. I remember old ladies making them when I was a kid.
Here we use spruce tree branches, and they are not weaved, but set to decorate graves in late autumn, when it's too cold for flowers, until spring. If there's little to no snow, it's much prettier. (On a snowy winter it will all be covered, but we may dig some of the branches from snow at Yule.)

For the record: my hubby (as Santa) left me a Stocking full of my favorite things and lots of presents under the tree.

So ladies, if your partner is forgetting presents for you on Christmas Day your present to yourself should be an upgrade.

I got earrings and a new collar + leash - in my colour theme 🥰

My gifts to him were much more mundane. No worry that he'd forget, though.
