There's no reason to have a national language. I speak English...most of the world speaks English as, at the very least, a second language.English has been the predominant language for the United States pretty much since its inception. There were attempts to pass a law declaring english our official language but having inept legislative bodies they failed. Up until 2018 there wasn't a dire need to protect it. Unfortunately with the uncontrolled migration illegal and overextended legal migration that's no longer the case. There is an effort by progressive globalist to surrender our nation status to the world. A country without borders is not a country at all.
Fun fact, languages don't have borders. Though maybe Mexico will pay for language walls for ya.
