The images that we see in porn are not representative of real life. Guys want to see trans actresses who top so that's what they get.
When I was searching for my little unicorn I was curious about how many trans women were tops, versatile or bottoms. Some of the dating sites don't contain that information except in a users profile text but some of the dating sites DID collect that information.
From my data queries I found that top trans women were about 5%, versatile were about 55% and bottoms were 40%. I was very surprised at the number of versatile women but in talking with some of the women themselves, I found that many of them were bottoms but they put versatile in the hope of appealing to a wider audience of men.
Interestingly enough when I queried the data on men interested in trans women, I found 5% of them were bottoms while the numbers for versatile and top were 55% and 40% respectively.
So there was about a nice match between the men and women in percentages of top, versatile and bottom.
The other thing I noticed in chatting with literally hundreds of women was how vocal many bottom transgender women were about bottom guys. In their profiles they would routinely say "No bottom guys!" or "Real men only - no bottoms!". Bottom transgender women hate bottom men and they are not too happy with the small percentage of trans women who are tops seeing them as less feminine because they top.
My girlfriend NEVER discloses the fact that she is a top to even her closest gay and trans friends. She does not want to be judged for her orientation and she knows that she would be.
The only people that she shares this fact with are the trans hookers that we have chatted with (they are fun to talk to!). They are non judgmental and some of them even high five her and congratulate her when they discover she is a top. "You go girl!" or "Get it, girl" is a common response.
My personal experience mirrors this: gonna have to scream "no bottom guys" in my profile tooThe images that we see in porn are not representative of real life. Guys want to see trans actresses who top so that's what they get.
