I'm curious, though not trying to spark argument from mods, on why the image threads in here got tsk'ed, yet the BDSM and GLBT sections have image threads of various situations that have been around longer than these... Did they get wristslapped too? I only ask because it would be unfair to call out one portion while another does the same or worse.

I think there are so many pictorials on Lit and not enough mods to go around. So, when they get loaded with PMs about a certain thread, it comes to their attention far faster than perhaps just meandering through these pictorial threads when they have the time and inclination.

Just a guess on my part having moderated forums before myself. So while a great many readers are enjoying VI, there's more tattletales out there with a case of sour grapes.

I don't blame the mods for enforcing what they have to, after all, the site could get shut down for non compliance of Federal Laws and fined. The site could probably use more mods, but they're not babysitters. It's our responsiblity to know the rules and to follow them.

Now considering how many X-rated (XXX-rated) sites exist out in the ether.... but many of them are hosted from someplace not even in the U.S. So they get around the laws. *shrugs* I don't really know.. it feels unfair especially when a great many other places host such but.... it is a porn site and Lit offers webcams 24/7, but having never utilized those, I don't know what they show exactly.
