"Of course it does," she said with a giggle as Lance kissed down her neck. Carmen could feel him getting soft inside her. It was only a matter of time before the moment ended and she pouted for a moment until she remembered that her mother was still out of town. "Everything you do to me feels good Daddy," she said running her hands up his back and into his hair. Carmen gave it a good tug, pulling his head up to catch his lips. "I think we should get going though. I've got a pretty busy day tomorrow and we both need a real night of sleep," she said with a grin as she sat up and slipped out from beneath him.
Getting dressed was a breeze since she never took off her boots. Lance's coveralls remain bunched around her ankles and she bent to pull them up. Carmen took her time with the zipper, allowing her step-father an extended peek at all her goodies before they were tucked away beneath the heavy black denim.
"I'll throw these in the wash tonight. They might be a bit stiff by the time I get home," she said with a grin and leaned up to kiss his lips. "We should just have something delivered for dinner. Chinese maybe? I love you Lance," she said with another quick kiss before she gathered up her belongings and headed for the door. "I'll see you at home."
Carmen was halfway to the truck when she remembered her clothes in the locker room and doubled back, the giddy smile never leaving her face. Part of her wished it could always be like this, that they didn't have to sneak around but the daughter in her could never justify forsaking her mothers happiness for her own. There was no telling how long they could keep up the affair, Carmen tried to tell herself that she was satisfied with the status quo, but for how long. Eventually she would want to settle down, get married, have babies, and finding another man that made her feel the way her step-father did would be difficult so long as they were still "together".
She called Rey on the ride home, and the woman provided the perfect distraction from those heavy thoughts. They laughed and flirted, made a concrete date for later in the week, after Gerry came home so as not to cut into her time with Lance. Carmen hung up with the feeling that Rey didn't mind playing second fiddle either and that's exactly what she needed right now. By the time she pulled into the garage, Carmen was back to being giddy again, stripped down in the laundry room so she wouldn't forget about the coveralls, and headed straight for the shower. Her entire bottom half was covered with grease and soot, thighs sticky from Lance's deposits, but still she grinned as she stepped under the spray. She was in love with a man who made her feel good, in like with a girl who made her laugh, a job she had grown to enjoy regardless of her relationship with her boss, and a car on the way. It was nothing like what she had mapped out in her five year plan but that made her no less happy.
