Jo's dreamself smiled, and for once she agreed with what her subconscious did. She looked at Don, eyes struggling to focus, and found once more that he was still as visually pleasing as she had thought. She was glad about that; in the constantly shifting dreamscape he was a point of stability. She tried to state her name, but found her lips wouldn't move. Her dreamself, it appeared, was more than happy to sit and stare at him adoringly. She decided once more to go along with what her dream self was comfortable with.
"The time theives," Jo began, "Jo is not one of them." Her dreamself gave a flirtatious giggle and Jo only wished she could bury her head in the sand they were sitting on. If she wasn't dreaming this would have to be the most embarrassing moment in her life.
