Leftwing Media Continues To Collapse

Accurate portrayal of today's left-wing media:

I'm cheering the fact that they are getting the lesson in free-market economics they didn't get leftist educations.
And your “education” allows you to think that was a complete thought? The addition of a couple of words might help you, but it’s “owning the libs” time so who needs it?

Give us a list of rightwing "news organizations."
Any list of right-wing news organizations would by definition not include breitbart.

That was described in 2016 by the founder, Steve Bannon as "the platform for the alt-right". So it's a 'there, there' safe place for people who see Fox as too much news, too far left. Bannon you'll remember, criticised Trump for being too left-wing, stole the money from the 'Build the Wall' grift, recommended that Dr. Fauci and Christopher Wray be executed and was convicted of contempt of Congress.

Your hero.

What you see is a double whammy in action.

Capitalism works when the company sells a product consumers want. In this case media doesn't have such a product so consumers go elsewhere.

The second smack in the face for these companies is that this is an obvious example of corporate bloat. Take the LA Times for example, they're losing 40 million per year so they lay off 1/3 of their staff. Assuming all things as linear and equal all that does is reduce the yearly loss to 25 million. Not a solution but it is something which management can take to the board and say they're trying when the reality is that it's management and the board where the problem is - too much bloat.

The problem here reminds me of a cartoon where the fat cat in the penthouse office picks up the phone to call down to the factory floor and issue a layoff order because profits are down. The other guy on the end of the call is the janitor because everyone else has already been let go.

That is the disconnect which corporate media is suffering from.
