I was trying to think of a username, my eyes scanning the bookshelf for inspiration, and they fell on a title Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter, which refers to the 'S's in Mississippi. I'm not from Mississippi but my first name happens to start with S. And I thought there was something apt about it in terms of crookedness, i.e. writing things perhaps frowned upon in some circles, and letters, i.e. the broader field of writing in general.

As for avatar... I guess I haven't made that particular choice yet.

Grant is the MMC in some of my stories. I asked my wife to help me come up with a name for the male character in the story, and we came up with Grant together. Then I used a random name generator online to find a last name I liked. Thus, Grant Bricksly was born. And now, not only is he my Main Male Character, but it's also my pen name.

As for my avatar... that's simple. It's me. That is literally a picture of me. Well...part of me anyway..

A long time ago I had occasion to see Turkish language records of the Ottoman genocide against the Armenians.

There were several examples of entire families being exterminated and the Baztrachian family was one such name and for whatever reason it stuck in my memory. I determined to memorialize that family in an entirely inappropriate way by forever linking them to my erotic stories.

But at least they are remembered.

My avatar is from the Knights of Malta who aided many of the Armenians who fled the genocide.

I was hoping to be iwatch but that was taken. I signed up when I first seriously considered writing here. My preferred reading category was EV, with an emphasis on the V and that is where I expected to write. And it was my first several stories landed. I have since migrated to where I expect most of stories will be Romance, SFF or LS. That was also a time when the Apple watch was in the rumor stage, so it was supposed to be a pun on that. Someone beat me to it, so off the cuff, I added the us.

I have not added an avatar yet, but I am getting fond of the I in the green circle. It almost looks like a key slot or coin slot.
