I believe the window looks clumsy. It's an interesting room, a strange mix of near successes in my opinion.

I like it, but I agree on the part that the window looks like a lot of fan fare for not much. I see it as the shelves and what's on them and not the window, is the "centerpiece". hmmmmmm, perhaps if the window was more than functional. Circular and filling more of the circumference and maybe stained glass.
