Wow, this is a fascinating topic for someone whose drug expierences were mostly in the 60s and 70s.
In those days, you just smoked it until you felt really high. There was no predicting how you would react until you had smoked it for awhile. Its such a change to have edibles that are more or less predictable.

Weed and sex have always gone together for me. I have always felt very much in tune with my own sense of touch and to my partner's reactions. It always seemed to last longer, feel more pleasurable while going on, and lead to more intense climaxes.

I also used to experiment with different drug combinations. Weed and alcohol was the regular party combination. Actually, weed went with just about everything. It took the edge off psychedelics and cocaine. I never liked the purely sedative drugs.

Other than weed, the only drugs that I felt really enhanced the sexual experience were psychedlics. For that to work, though, I had to be really really comfortable with my partner. On those few occasions where I got to experience sex on psychedelics, we would fuck for what seemed like hours before I would cum. Now, my sense of time may not have been too reliable, but I do know we went on and on.

Today, the drug combination that works best for me is weed (legal here, amazing that) with viagra. Edibles take about the same amount of time to kick in. I have insa sour drops. Sativa.

Now I'm horny thinking about it.

Liquor definitely has the same effect on me, too. Melts that shyness away. And I feel like I can get there in increments with liquor, which is preferred sometimes. But, booze doesn’t give me the same tinglies/ecstasy with every touch like the edibles do. Have definitely taken a higher dose in edibles than intended… still feels fucking fantastic, but then I have no oomph or energy to do anything about it. Which is a problem. Lol

If we have time for it to take affect or if we’re at a hotel out of town we opt for edibles. We much prefer smoking flower. The instant high seems to make everything more sensitive.

We often have the debate on strand. Sativa, head, sometimes makes you think to much, Indica, body, sometimes relaxes you too much. Often we go for hybrid. Trying to hit the perfect balance. We’ve found a couple strands that we really like, only to find out the dispensary no longer carry’s it the next time we go to purchase.
Do you have a preferred strand?

I’d have to agree that I find the best mix with a hybrid. I’m no help with any specific strands, though. Sorry.

I’ve smoked ever 4 hours for the last 10 years. It just makes everything better for me. It helps access all that is already within you, draws it out and let’s me just be in myself, love myself, love others and just always having the larger picture in mind. I'm a HUGE fan of mixing a full body high cannabis with S-E-X. Sour Diesel is great for what I will call "vigorous" sessions lol but I really love, Love, LOVE Blue Dream for the floaty head high. Jack Herer is another of my faves, but I can rarely find it anywhere anymore.

But I also love a good couch lock high from a strong Indica during sex when I feel like making him do "all the work"/treat me like his own personal, bend me in any position you like sex doll

Edibles can be super fun too because I'll take one (or two!) an hour or so before I expect us to have some together time (a rare gift with the kids out of school!) and OMG - FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

Living in a legal state makes me sad for couples who don't. Because I highly, HIGHLY (pun intended lol) recommend it. My husband doesn't always join me in pre-sex puffs or edibles because he works in security and is sometimes required to give a pee test. It's not a fire-able offense, and he has his medical MJ card (as do I) related to injuries he sustained when he was a baseball player, so he has a valid "excuse" to indulge but he's still (overly imho) careful about it.

I COMPLETELY agree with KofCali's last post about finding the right strain for you and making sure you aren't getting "too high" - everyone is a little different and different strains these days definitely have different effects on different people.
