Numi's boudoir

Safely home now, thank you. The house feels enormous after a week in a camper!

I really enjoyed it, the week went so fast. I loved driving it, I loved being able to move about without packing/unpacking, I'm really looking forward to doing it in NZ next year now.

We had one minor head-injury (non-sex-related), broke a cafetière, and there was a rather inelegant re-entry after a middle of the night al fresco 'comfort break', but otherwise it was great fun and really rather fabulous. And the company we'd borrowed it from didn't deduct anything from our deposit for the *ahem* coconut oil incident in the sleeping area...;)

The guy came in to check it all over while I was still packing up, I had to very quickly stuff my bright purple rabbit vibe in the bag before he spotted it!

Knowing you, you probably waited until he was standing beside you before you put it away. Once you realize how long you are, it is easy. Sounds just like sex.:)

He sort of materialised rather suddenly, I had to act fast!

I agree it's important to know how long it is. You don't want to be wedging it into somewhere it won't fit  It's also very important to get the angle right. If you're not sure, you can always ask for guidance, though. "How's that? Bit more?" And so on...

Now, about the camper van... :D

The thing to remember about camper vans or trailers is if the beds rocking then wait until later to go over to visit.

Hehe, that's good advice

I wonder if there are recognised 'signals' between *ahem* 'like-minded' campers, shall we say. Like the old 'pampas grass in the front garden' signal that was rumoured in the seventies, did you have that one over there?

we had the old sock on the door knob back in the college dorm days

My dreams have been very weird lately.

The old faithful 'not studied for the exam' dream. Relieved to wake up and still have a degree.

Being at a coronation. My coronation.

Last night: Cycling into a river, losing my shoes, climbing out and traipsing through someone's house to rejoin my route.

Nothing rude, sadly.

Hello, darling!

Your dream reminds me of that bit from my favorite show Sherlock:

Dropping off some love for my sweet friend Numi…

Ah, but which Sherlock are we talking? Benedict Cumberbatch* and Martin Freeman, or Sandra Oh and Jonny Lee Miller?

* or Bendydick Cumbersnatch, as he is also known

BC! How lovely to see you.

I fear my week is not going to be beautiful, I have a dentist appointment on Wednesday to sort out a possibly cracked tooth  If it goes badly, I may have root canal work and a partial crown in my Christmas run-up :(

Had a lovely night in an old coaching inn last night, though. Much naughtiness ensued.

How are you doing? Do you miss travelling?

Ha ha. Yes, a simple sock can have many uses.

Ew... :D

I think the sock on the door knob should have a colour indication.

Green, come on in and entertain me.

Amber, things are hotting up, only disturb in an emergency.

Red, put in your earplugs, it's going to get loud...

The Cumberbatch/BBC one. The line was spoken by Moriarty, played by Andrew Scott

Hee hee . sometimes, you just want to stay inside.

Oh, I do like Andrew Scott. I nearly saw him on the stage, he did a Macbeth, I think, or maybe a Hamlet, a couple of years ago. Anyway, I missed it, grrrr.

I haven't ever seen the Jonny Lee Miller/Sandra Oh 'Sherlock'. But I liked her enormously in Killing Eve. It was brilliant, she was brilliant. I'm quite sad it's finished!

We would never forget you.

Aw... *gulps*

How are things in the land of legal cannabis? I do admire your country for being sensibly brave about it. Or bravely sensible. Or something. I'm not a partaker, but it seems vaguely ridiculous that it's so illegal practically everywhere.

I've not been here posting much lately, for various reasons. Some good :) Some not so good :(

Mainly, I've just had a lot on. So I thought I'd drop this off, so you don't forget what I look like.

Numi, how could anyone ever forget an unforgettable charmer and beauty such as yourself???

BTW, that's a truly beautiful picture. I'm not the least hesitant to admit to being smitten.

Enjoy your day and stay warm. :rose:
