GWTW is an iconic motion picture to be sure but anything is certainly possible. Considering it was released in 1940 it's more then withstood the tests of time. FWIW there was a TV Mini series back in 1994 called Scarlett which was supposed to be a follow on to GWTW.

Wow, 1940... At the very least, film-making technology has improved enormously since then. Some things just shouldn't be remade, though, I'd say.

That’s a lovely photo of you I really like the use of mirrors in photographs like this one; they lend a touch of intimacy to the setting.

I not sure they can remake some of those types of movies these days. It would be hard to do without bringing up the pain of past race relations and stereotypes.

And . . . You look awesome, Ms. Numi :rose:

You're right, though, about that type of movie. I thought twice about posting the picture, actually, because the clear racial divide made me feel a little uncomfortable, but then I thought, well, it is what it is, that's the film they made, and it reflects what went on back then. And if that brings us up sharp in modern times, that's a good indication of how far we've come, I'd say.

And also, I really liked the underwear ;) :devil:

That's a good question!

Actually, once it's on, it'll probably stay on throughout. Which is partly down to how fiddly they are to get on and off, but also because they essentially stop at the hip bone, so there's nothing stopping any kind of delicious filthiness taking place with it still on. Plus, a corset with steel collar and cuffs - that's a good look, right? :devil:

P.S. Beguiled: "Cpl. John McBurney is an injured Union soldier who finds himself on the run as a deserter during the Civil War. He seeks refuge at an all-female Southern boarding school where the teachers and students seem more than willing to help. Soon, sexual tensions lead to dangerous rivalries as the women tend to his wounded leg while offering him comfort and companionship."

I make it a point to never wear clothes while wearing a hat. I find that they detract from each other.

Too iconic and too controversial given its subject matter...I don't think any movie would want to take that risk. But like tnman said, there is a sequel that follows Scarlett as she travels closer to your neck of the woods.

I don't think we should shy away from our histories. Goodness knows my country has much to be ashamed of. It's seventy years this year since the partition of India, for example :eek: And further back, the Crusades, and so on. :eek: But remembering the horrors in history helps avoid repeating the mistakes...

I completely agree on not shying away from our countries histories. We shouldn't gloss over or hide the bad times but instead continue to teach them as a moral lesson of wrong doings. Rewriting or destroying histories for political correctness or meeting current political agendas is regrettable. :(

And as for a white corset, well I do believe that you'd be exceptionally beautiful wearing one. :rose:

Oh by all means we absolutely should do further research together on this topic, after all I do have a trained observers eye you know. :cattail:


And while white lingerie does look best with a tan its also well suited for those times when the lady is covered with a nice blush as well. :)

I like research... :)

I think I slightly prefer white with untanned skin, somehow. The tan can look a bit ... much ... against white. Weirdly, my favourite red slip looks much more pink than red when I'm tanned. :confused:

There's a theory that a lady blushes all over during orgasm. I wonder if that's true? :D
