I totally get the lurking. Gender queer pics or threads with sexy discussions result in creepy messages. Every time. My Fetlife profile stated over and over for dudes to not message me, but of course, they did. Had to visit there in stealth mode.

Common reasons for those types of posts and PM's are:

A - "I have the Freedom of Speech"

2 - Hiding behind their anonymity.

D - They don't care about anyone else but only of themselves






Heard this many times growing up

However being a lesbian don't worry about it
(plus my toys use batteries, not blood)

Oh, I agree. It doesn't offend my male sensibilities to hear, acknowledge, or admit that males of any sexuality do NOT brain well when aroused, and almost anything arouses said brains!

Back to what you saw scrolling GLBT Chatter. What did you see? What didn't you see? Nearly two dozen female GLBT threads have been raided then collapsed less than one year.

How many active threads for females did you see? Eight of those threads are controlled by guys, leaving a handful of female threads.

How about females that still participate? As threads were collapsing, they were not only leaving GLBT in droves, many also left Lit.






It’s not the you exercise your freedom of speech, but how you do it. Females don't have a freedom, if we don’t want to read it, except to leave. Congratulations, which is what you've accomplished.

I’m glad people are more responsible with their right to bear arms than you are exercising your freedom of speech.



If you haven't noticed, my standard Original Post is blank, members can post saying whatever they'd like, after all, we are talking about your freedom of speech.

The freedom of speech argument is often mis-used to justify pointless, insensitive, cruel, vacuous, inappropriate, off-topic commentary.

I haven;t done any of that lately but I suspect if I go back 20 years I might have erred moire than memoiry might prefer

Same as they have the past few years I’ve been a member, while stroking their pride and joy in hand, some guys (smoothshavendad leading the way, along with his friends) will start invading and hijack GLBT Chatter threads for lesbians and bisexual women. Hitting on each female, telling them that they are or what they say is hot, and wanting females to post more of their desires or experiences.
Along with also posting all sorts of girl-on-girl porn for guys and off-topic hetero-guy-centric stuff.






How it's felt when Smoothshavendad leads the guys invading female threads in GLBT

Nearly two dozen threads they've either caused to collapse or be removed.
There are only a few threads remaining, and even many of those have been controlled by guys (such as the two video threads).

Females obviously stop participating not only in those threads, but they've been driven out of GLBT Chatter Forum.
Many females only lurk, and I've lost track of how many have also left Lit. Some even post stating because of some guys and trolls have become so bad.






Protect yourself girls!

I'll say it again, by far the majority of guys at Lit respect females, and it's a minute fraction of guys that don't care about others but only their own interest.

Yeah, it's not really news that men can be pigs. But the sheer scale of it, in a GLBT space is still surprising. Would these guys just join some lesbians at a table at a gay bar and start talking over them about how hot they make them?

Even as a man myself I'm surprised by the PMs from guys after I post in a thread. Largely from people not participating in the posts whatsoever. Many haven't posted publicly for years if at all.

If we have a little back and forth in a thread, sure maybe send a PM asking if we'd like to talk privately. But just jumping from out of nowhere talking about how hard and horny they are? Online version of a flasher in a trench coat. Absolutely violates consent, yes even on a sex related forum. Do better.

Beginning of last year, when realizing the old thread was gone, bunny4med created a new Women Kissing Women thread.


Six months ago, guys became regular posters, which turned into doing the majority of the posting.


This post changed the tone of the thread

Basically it's about guys that don't care who threads for lesbians for bisexual women are intended, having no regard for others, but only about posting what interests them, raiding and hijacking threads until the threads fall or are removed.

Actually, and seriously, thank you. From a post a week ago by Bad_Egg (he's already left Lit) along with a couple of photos, an idea began melding yesterday, but thanks to yours and Fingerfuxs posts in this thread today, it came together for me.

I've been here a few years and yes, it's changed for the worse. I rarely bother to look at GLBT because it's mostly garbage and they give me the creeps. I remember threads from when I arrived that were such fun: Paris had a thread that was hysterical and there was another 'cafe' style thread where I discovered lovely people and friends I still keep in touch with even though they've left Lit.

There are few posters I trust or who are worth listening to. Worthwhile threads are as rare as rocking horse shit but they do crop up, so I still stick around. I think social media everywhere is intentionally being subverted by bots and agencies looking to break them up.

All the same, I've taken away valuable life lessons from Lit - how to deal with trolls in real life, that the world really is run by dicks, people that talk politics are really really boring, how old people are angry most of the time.
