I don't believe Scummies can actually do that. What he does is claim that a lot of stories are entered in this bogus contest and act as if it were real. It isn't. No prizes are ever given out and he's just pretending to be something he isn't. If you want to avoid his bullshit, have a minor character in your story named Pauletta. For some reason, he has a grudge against this name and will leave ou alone.
