Most definitly. I know there are folks out there that watch for certain people to be online. I'm sure there are more that do that than we realize. I've been told I have "stalkers" and I guess a few have contacted some of the men I have chatted with, whether they were intimate chats are not. I don't like that idea, but there isn't much one can do about it. So I guess as long as I don't know who they are, I'm good. When I find out who they are, then it gets even more creepy.

I'm sure that is true. I find using the invisible mode helps keep the number of rude, unwanted PMs down. The rare times I turn off the invisible mode and appear online I start getting flooded with PMs, sometimes even before I post.

I rarely use the invisible mode here at Lit, but I often use it on my IM. For the most part folks on my IM get invisible only because I'm just not ready to chat with anyone. I will admit also that I sometimes pick and choose who I "decloak" for because there have been some that I've let into my IM box who I thought were there for more than just a way to relieve their horniness, well every time they pop into my IM, they seem to have to tell me how horny they are. That gets very old, very fast.
