Unfortunately, I have deleted most of the random PMs I have received, so I can't share some of the better pick up lines. I have to tell you about the best PM I ever received. It is probably best if I set the scene first. Earlier this year I decided that the time had come for me to leave Lit (the reasons are not relevant now). I started a thread which said goodbye and a few people I had got to know posted to it, which pleased me.

About 2 months later I logged back into Lit for the first time since I had started that thread, the intention just purely to see what other comments had been added, if any. I can't actually remember what if any had been but I had received a PM during that time. This PM simply said that she was sorry that I had left and how much she wished she had got to know me better. I decided to reply, though I honestly can't remember what I said. All I know is that what ever it is I said must have worked because I have now found someone very special to me, something I never thought would happen here.
