Busy week here. Today is Emm's pampering day, a much needed facial.
Tomorrow another day in the city, meeting my oncologist. Than off to my plastic surgeon for the first expanding of my boobs.....yeahhhhh
Thursday, chemo lessons, than off to the hospital for more tests....(heart echo, bones....)
And first fitting for my wig......

But I m feeling great. So I m ready to battle.

I m all set to start my chemo next Tuesday. I need to go in early Monday morning for a central line in my arm. The first 4 rounds of chemo are to intense for my veins. So after the first 4, if the central line is bothering me they will take it out.
But feeling great and ready to the next battle.
I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT. My social worker asked me yesterday about my support group, I TOLD HER I HAVE THE BEST. YOU ALL.

And as Sassy told you I got my first boob reconstruction, 60 ml of saline (that was one huge needle and syringe ) And you so can see the difference. Two more times and than I will have my 34B back. Than its waiting for the reconstruction operation till September, and another 4 months for the nipples or whatever i decide to go with. So I should have new boobies just one year later when I got diagnosed.
But the only thing I want for my Birthday is one thing : REMISSION.

It's really hard NOT to be impressed by your courage, sweet Emmy. Courage and great attitude are key to survivorship and you have it in spades. My eyes tear up in pride every time I read your posts and seeing you moving forward. It's like going the cancer thread where we see people struggling but moving forward with guts and conviction!!! And always I well up when I am there, it is moving to be in the presence of people so filled with that courage.
