I finally heard from Emmy today. She heard word that her family is ok. She hasn't heard about friends yet though. I didn't realize her kids were leaving, so she has been extra sad today, but has a Doctor appointment tomorrow and is happy that she is still feeling so good and not taking anything in the way of her pain meds.
Thankfully in usual Emmy fashion, she seemed perky and happy to go to her appointments today.
For those who didn't know. Todays appointments are with the Plastic Surgeon and the Radiologist. So I am hoping that means that today we will all hear if she will have to do any Chemo and or Radiation.

Well Sadly Emmy didn't get great news. She is going to have to do both a round of Chemo and Radiation. So new boobie rebuilding has to wait a little bit longer. She is pretty upset today, but I told her that it just means she has to wait a little longer. She has already come this far like a champ, she will get through the rest like a champ! She said she is sure she will be back to her silly self by tomorrow and I told her if not, I would have to send her silly pictures again and it wouldn't be pretty since I Have my hair in braids like a little kid. She said her husband is putting her hair in a ponytail. He's so sweet.
