Would you eat man made meat?

I don't see why not. I imagine eventually it will be cheap enough to be viable. Right now I just want to taste it and find out if it's any good. The results I heard were varied between okay and not crap. But MOST burgers without any condiments are crap so that wasn't really fair. It's also completely fat free which while it's healthier I'm sure (yes I'm aware we need fat in our diets. I doubt however that any of us are below the recommended limit) but fat is yummy!

No.
But then, I don't have to as I grow my own lamb and beef.
I can see though that in some parts of the world it might be an option, should it ever become cheap enough.

I doubt I'll ever get close to it, since I don't eat at fast-food places.

Many here have eaten man-grown meat...

Some of our younger ladies have dined on the equivalent of veal even.

Are we really so married to meatloaf that we have to waste stem cell research to lab grow it?

If and when we run out of real cows, so be it.

I'd try it. If it's good then I'd eat more. If not then I won't. No different than anything else.
I won't be the first to try it though, I can tell you that. I'll wait a few years and see if people who eat it turn into X-Men type mutants or not. If they do then give me a heaping plate.

Do you mean synthetic meat? I would yes. The reason is I could enjoy meat without having to contribute to the death of an animal.

I constantly fight an inner battle with myself, much like Spock, over my love for meat and my love for animals and my abhorrence at the thought of exploiting and slaughtering them. This would solve that quandary.

But then, if synthmeat took off and everyone ate it would that lead to the extinction of domesticated animals? So I guess... another quandary.

Vulcan's also do not drink alcohol. Where's the logic in that?

Do you have the same dilemma when you watch a documentary about lions eating a zebra?
I know absolutely that my beasts are killed far more humanely than lions (etc) do!
