Yes, I did. Those assholios. AT&T provides the cable modem hookup, and they also contract out to provide an IP server. Well, Excite.com declared bankruptcy, and AT&T had failed to find a suitable server in time, even though they knew that Excite was going under. So, we were without internet access for about 5 or 6 days, even though we had paid for the service. We'll get our money back, but 50,000 people were without access. I think AT&T should have stopped procrastinating and gotten it's act together when it found out that Excite was thinking of going under. But they didn't, and VIOLA! I'm thinking of switching to DSL now.... just to spite AT&T.

No kidding. They said we would have connection back on Tuesday... Well its now Thursday evening and still no cable. I cant use dial up anymore.... *sigh*

DSL is just so much more expensive then cable. *shrug*
