Why do you giggle with the racists?

WOW! Did you screw that up!

<self righteous bullshit>

You're actually right, I did screw up. You didn't call me a racist - you just falsely stated that I called someone a nigger, in a thread about racists, trying to get me branded as one - although your pathetically frantic backpedalling did happen, and was quite amusing to watch. It's so difficult to keep all your errors in interpretation, memory and basic knowledge straight in one's mind, don't you know? This particular situation was one of the best, I have to say - not quite up there with your definite knowledge of my name stealing and the painful hurt it led to, but close.

Nice try at attributing outrage about it to LT though, seeing as his post had nothing to do with the situation with my daughter and everything to do with your blatant disregard of your buddy's comments. Which does beg the question though - assuming I -had- said "sup nigga" to my daughter's boyfriend as you first claimed (although you twisted it to be nigger, but that's just semantics), why is that more cause for a hysterical reaction from you than the time that someone you actually liked said it? Never mind - hysterical reactions to your sadly lacking memory of events concerning me are public record in these here parts - I guess we all know the answer to the question. :)

PS: Calling a person granny doesn't quite work as an insult when she happens to be very proud of the fact, and quite ecstatic over the birth of her beautiful granddaughter.

I'd not expect a sadly lonely, psycho troll like you to understand that though.

Your sarcasm would hit harder if it seemed like you actually knew what you were talking about.
I think the general perception of rappers is that this sector of society is living that gangster life. You know, as the song says, "They been spending most their lives living in the gangsta's paradise". If you're trying to tell me thats not true, I would beg to differ.

Everybody who listens to the Rolling Stones shoots heroin, impregnates supermodels and snorts coke off of hooker's asses.

Don't they?

You might not think it's close, but 30 years ago, a hell of a lot of people would have thought it an exact fit.

All heavy metal music causes satanistic ritualized murder, too.

That might be a general perception but it's an ignorant perception and unless you want to come off as ignorant yourself, I'd suggest you don't spout off opinions based on faulty, myopic data.

And country music makes you put your major appliances out on the front porch.

and you do know all irish people audition for River Dance and use it as a way to keep warm when the lakes are frozen and potatoes are few?

you could always spot a Stevie Wonder fan in the streets as they'd walk along, bopping their heads about all funny and smiling :)

It’s my opinion and I’m entitled to it. If you have a point to make or care to dispute my allegations, please do so. I am interested in hearing your point of view if you actually have one.

Your style of arguing is to throw in a few big words and call people ignorant. Please enlighten us with the truth since you seem to have all the answers….…

Everything said about Hip Hop was said about Rock n Roll before it, and said about Jazz before that. It all basically boiled down to the same thing: "The Negroes stole our dates!"

And judging Hip Hop by what you see on MTV is like judging Rock n Roll by listening to Casey Casem's America Coast to Coast.

My point is that you're flippant about judging and dismissing a subculture that has several decades of detailed history behind it. It's one thing to say you don't like it, don't appreciate it, don't care about it. You are entitled to that opinion.

But since your knowledge of anything hip hop-related seems to be limited to only what you've gleaned from television over the last few years, I'll take acception to your assesment that all hip hop involves violence, misogyny and prison culture (as well as your implication that this is also synonymous with "black" culture) because such a statement is just flat out wrong and rather insulting.

And even though I'd like to give you a crash course on over thirty years of hip hop history as well as a primer on what "black" culture actually is, I'm not going to waste the time or energy. These are things you can find out for yourself with just a little bit of research.

And sorry if I came off as smug and attacking but it just gets really, really tiring to see people continue to have "opinions" that are based entirely on false assumptions.
