Why do you giggle with the racists?

Everything said about Hip Hop was said about Rock n Roll before it, and said about Jazz before that. It all basically boiled down to the same thing: "The Negroes stole our dates!"

The irony is that white people have been busy participating in and shaping the hip hop scene from the very beginning. It's never even really been a "black" thing. It's an urban thing.

And judging Hip Hop by what you see on MTV is like judging Rock n Roll by listening to Casey Casem's America Coast to Coast.

People do like to do that for some reason.

Motherfuckers are just lazy.

It's all about the money. That's all pop-culture has ever been about and it all comes from the streets. Only 1 in a 1000 will still be around in 10 years, if that many. Not nearly as 'black and white' as some would like to paint it.

you could always spot a Stevie Wonder fan in the streets as they'd walk along, bopping their heads about all funny and smiling :)
Did you hear the story about when Stevie Wonder was acuused of raping a woman?
When he was on the stand he said "I never seen that woman in my life"
End of case

That's not allowed.

See, I will say nigger, though I will not call someone a nigger, as I consider racism to be stupid.

However, because I'm not afraid of saying the word, and since I consider racism to be dumb and I'm not terrified of it, I'm a bad, bad lady.

I'm comfortable with that, too.
But you said your "brother in law" would call ME a nigger

something which no black person, in my years of life, has ever called me.

Essentially you can't accept that some black people are racist. Including you.

Yes, and you continue to miss the fact that I was accusing my brother in law of being racist at the time.

In the years of my life, the most times I've heard the word nigger, it's been coming from a black person.

That's my point. Many people don't think a black person can be a racist. I do.

accused me of being a racist because she KNEW I had said it.
Of course, after she was proven totally wrong, she backtracked like the lying cunt she is, but that she'd not called me racist for it - which of course was proven wrong again.

Freya said:
You're actually right, I did screw up. You didn't call me a racist

Thank you ... enough said.

Of course, the quotes proved your lame accusations wrong anyhow.

And now the backpedaling begins...

Content that was there to begin with isn't backpedaling. It's just a demonstration of your lack of comprehension.

What's the matter Lt?

Weren't you popular in school? I suppose that's the price you pay when all your friends are white.

But since your knowledge of anything hip hop-related seems to be limited to only what you've gleaned from television over the last few years, I'll take acception to your assesment that all hip hop involves violence, misogyny and prison culture (as well as your implication that this is also synonymous with "black" culture) because such a statement is just flat out wrong and rather insulting.
Since I don't hang out with rappers, like the majority of people in this country, black or white, I gather my information off of Television, print media, movies and the internet. I also read lyrics of the "songs" and come to my own conclusions. Okay, lets not say "all" hip hop is violence and prision culture, just the ones that make it on TV! I miss Tupac.

I don't hang out with female pop stars, like the majority of people in this country, I gather my information off of television, print media, internet, etc.

I could assume they are all panty-less, coke sniffing drunk drivers.

Or I could realize that the media seeks the outrageous and the sensational to highlight, and that the picture you get of any movement or phenomenon through the filter of the mass media will reflect that bias.

Holy fuck, psycho! Maybe you could have made the font a bit bigger while you were editing my words out of context.

It's nice to know that a person can stay away from Lit for any amount of time, yet jokes like you will still be here to laugh at, when they come back.

Those were your exact words, Freya ... you own them.

You went on an on about me saying you were a racist, and how you proved to me when I denied saying it, and all the while I never did say it. No matter how you assumed my intent or implication was to the contrary. My whole point then, as it is now, is that you trashed your daughter while trying to look good.

Finally you admitted you were wrong. I didn't call you a racist. Nor, did I imply you're a racist. Don't go trying to turn my words around to mean what you imply. It's all there, as quoted.

It was nice seeing you again, too.

Congratulations on your new grandaughter.

Content such as you allege was there, is irrelevant to whether you're backpedaling now, Crying Game poster child.

Yes, it's irrelevant to you, and always has been, and oddly enough, I'm fine with that. It's nice that I know what I'm thinking and you don't.

Talking to him is like Jesus saying "Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin."

"He thinks I'm a fucking flower, that crazy looney robe-wearing psycho!"

Doesn't matter what I say, it's great. It's really consistent.

It's not garbage in-garbage out. It's "anything in-garbage out"
