Just curious about the reasons some may have about coming back to Lit after finding it in the first place....

It's a pretty wide range of people who visit, from young to old, married to single, gay, straight and bi..... but we all have one thing in common... why?

Another question could be how did you find the site in the first place?

I originally came to learn how to write in a way that not only had the reader simply read but experience the story. Obviously erotic literature is such a genre that relies on the imagination and stimulates the reader in a way that I don't think any other genre does and I wanted to grasp that. Then I ended up joining because I like the company and everyone is quite open minded.

I stumbled across the forums when searching for someone to chat with in an adult forum without a bunch of 12 year olds trying to command the conversation. I was having extreme marital problems and just needed someone to talk to... and wasn't in a position to have friends in "real life".

I met some truly wonderful people here and some of them <you know who you are> have become fantastic long-term friends who I've chatted with an e-mailed with for several years now. Lit gave me great support during the end of a very difficult marriage and through an equally difficult divorce.

I came back after some time away to re-connect with the people who had seen me through so much. Even though it is labeled an "erotic" site, it is really a fantastic community of open-minded, supportive and amazing individuals.

I guess it's just a place where you can really talk about anything, with anybody. There are really no 'taboos' in the general sense of the word are there?

Why do I cum here?

Well I first found the site due to the stories. I was reading for a long time before I even knew there was a message board.

When I did find the messages boards well I don't tend to read as many stories any more. The boards are just way to much fun to read.

I have been on here a long time but I don’t really post a whole heck of a lot. I am mostly a lurker. Maybe soon I will start taking a more active role and posting more.

I agree that not a lot is taboo here which is one of the reasons I love it. It has help open my eyes to a lot of things I have only fantasized about and I am glad that there are a lot of others out there like me.

I came here originally because I was looking for a site with good erotic stories.

Then I discovered the forums. Having lurked for a while I replied a few times. Then I decided to participate and start my own thread.

Now I enjoy it all.

From the banter on threads that I visit. To seeing pictures of people that I would never see otherwise to sharing pictures of me with everyone.

Lit for me has become almost a Cyber home and my favourite way to relax.

i dont come here daily like i did at some points. it started for the stories after a search and then expanded to the bulletin board. ill still go directly to the stories from time to time if thats what im in the mood for.

There ARE lots of nice people on here who won't normally cut you up for asking a stupid question or giving your point of views... But on the other hand, there are always the ones who stand out...

That being said, it's fun to share personal experiences with a large variety of people and find out what makes them tick, both sexually and not.

Like pretty much everybody else, I came to Literotica looking for stories. I don't remember how I found the site, probably Jane's Guide.

I really like hanging out in the Darkroom and the Playground. The conversations here are a lot more intelligent and polite than what you find on the General Board.

But I gotta say, the GB is a lot more exciting.

I'm new here so, I don't know what will keep me coming back, hopefully something, becuase this seems like a great community.

I found this place doing a search for erotic stories though.

I think what we all have in common and what keeps most of us coming back or here in the first place is obviously sex. But, what seems so great about this community is that its an open place, where we can explore, discuss, and talk about sex, whereas, it is taboo to do so in other walks of life, such as work or school. So I guess maybe its not sex afterall what people like about here, but maybe the freedom?
