Why and how is abortion a state's rights issue?

Not that I agree with Graham but the issue could go before both houses and voted into a federal law, I’m sure Biden would sign the bill.
Federal regulations wouldn't leave the power of regulation to the states though, Democrats would NEVER want that.

Certainly not before an election... they need it to fear monger their idiot voters.

You are correct, I misread your statement as saying this SCOTUS swept away the state laws.

And again, there are no laws affirming QI or corporations as people, yet SCOTUS put those in play.

Still going "BUT 1A and 4A CASES!!! THEY DISPROVE A 10A CASE!!! BECAUSE MAH FEE FEEZ!!!" LOL

QI and CitizensU have nothing to do with states rights. Keep screaming about lemons and limes in a grapefruit argument.
Absolutely astonishing how many Republican senators, after years of piously lecturin' us about how abortion is a state right, now support Graham's 15 week nationwide ban on abortion. The epitome of talking out of both sides of your mouth.

Democrats could pass legislation RIGHT NOW, with bipartisan support to protect abortion rights with federal regulations, but they wouldn't fuckin' DARE. Roe being overturned is the only thing they've got going for them.

I'm a bit tired. Long day. Which idiocy am I supposed to check on?

As for the being correct remark, I admit I misread what he said so I said so. Doesn't mean I agree with his conclusions or that I believe he is correct. The anti-abortion movement has used one ploy after the next, engaging in outright deception and using heavy handed hyperbole to achieve their goal: banning abortion. Legal consistencies and constitutionality be damned. That's all they care about.

Yes it's the anti-abortion crowds better understanding of the law. It's all their fault, don't you EVER hold Democrats responsible for failing to do anything, not even attempt to protect abortion rights. The cult leaders wouldn't like that.....

No, it's just not relevant to the fact that Democrats won't protect abortion rights federally, because it would hurt their ability to use the lefts pant filling fear of democracy at the state level to their benefit during an election cycle.

Compromising to get 10 of the 30+ pro-choice up to viability/3rd trimester republicans on board is absolutely out of the question, best to just be anti-democracy.
