I assumed that everyone bought online but there are still plenty adult book stores around.
Last week we were in need of a new dildo and I went to an abs to look and get something. I had forgotten the thrill of walking into an abs in person and browsing the selections. Then the in person checkout is another thrill.
It’s also pretty hot when you see a woman or a couple shopping together.

So do you buy in person or online?

My first few were online purchases, just ordering the first one was exciting, the second was equally thrilling. The thought of a 2 day delivery had a surprising effect. TBH after receiving both I was a bit disappointed with the second one. Two months later and into college life my roommate Kendal got into talking about purchasing toys and she said she preferred hands on before buying having been unhappy with her first online order. Our second weekend we were out shopping clothes at an outlet mall when she spotted and ABS across the road and said we should check it out. Didn't take much convincing for me to agree with her description of the fun she had back in LA on her few trips into one.

Clothes shopping was forgotten and in a few minutes I was in awe of what the store had on display, took a while to realize she and I were sort of on display too as we wandered the aisles gawking at and fondling everything we saw. The whole experience was amazing, from the help of the sort of Goth salesgirl Sandy to the suggestions from a few customers prompted us to make a few purchases. Needless to say that ABS and a few others we found became semi regular parts of shopping trips.

Online shopping still is fun and cheaper but not till after things have been in hand from physical research.

We used to buy online but these days only buy our essentials online.

We have found that the toys are getting so expensive these days that we prefer to look and hold them before we buy. I also tend to research the reviews a lot before we go and buy as he have spent far too much on toys that didn't do too much for us.

We do have a very large collection but in reality probably use about 10% of them regularly.

I have found that when the stores we go to have a female shop assistant they give us the best advice as in most cases they are completely unembarrassed and will often tell us how they have used them themselves and therefore you get much better reviews.

The ones we avoid is where they have younger men running the store as they tend not to take older couples seriously and the service can be poor.
