What's She (or He) Saying? Redeux

(customer, whispering): "I think there's a man in the next aisle staring between the shoes at us."

(saleswoman, whispering back): I know. He's the owner. He doesn't like when you look at him.
Pretend you don't notice. He might end up paying for whatever you decide to buy at the register."

(I've actually had two different rando guys pay for my shoes at a shoe store - the first time I couldn't afford them all and my credit card kept declining but I couldn't decide which ones to buy and which ones not to buy. I was holding up the line and the guy behind me felt bad for me so he offered to pay for them. He may have watched me trying on a few, idk, but I totally thanked him later in the parking lot. The second time I was at the same shoe store totally broke again and I timed it so a cute guy would be behind me in line. It took three different tries but I finally found a guy who offered to pay for my shoes. (hot tip: it's never the cute ones! lol) The clerk totally knew what I was doing by then. She was cool though because she thought it was hilarious and then couldn't believe it worked. Definitely two of my fonder memories of being broke lol, ahhhh the kindness of strangers, right?)

"Oh my. Yes, it's very lovely. I appreciate you for making it so big before you showed it
to me. I can't wait to get to know it better. But be a good boy and put it away for now.
I'm starving and you promised to take me to dinner first. Hurry up. Our reservations are
at seven and I don't want to be late. Careful with your zipper sweetie. Slowly. Slowly."

(some hotel guests need a little more hand holding than others lol)
God that hurts. 😍

You minx!!

You minx!!

Still to this day every time I go shoe shopping I think back on those two times when I didn't have to pay for my shoes.

I shop at higher quality shoe stores these days though. Most of them carry only women's shoes so there aren't ever very many guys in the store unless they're with their wife or gf.

Times change too. I don't look like a broke mess in my early 20's anymore. If I ever went back to any of those discount shoe stores nowadays I'd probably be the one buying the shoes for the guy in front of me if he was holding up the line! Or the girl. They'd be like "why'd that old lady buy my shoes for me?" lol

I'll hire a limo yo take you shopping 🙃

Someday I want to work up the courage to cut my hair short like this.

I've identified with my long hair most of my life so it would probably be a healthy mental/self image cleanse for me lol

Plus it might make me look really cute! :)

Some HOA's are more friendly than others lol
