Unfortunately this can't explain all the surrounding circumstances, but it will be interesting to see what the results are.

I had a choice recently, and I want to know how others would have chosen.

The second choice is the practical option but you did say the (wo)man of my dreams! That's gotta be worth the farm...I chose option one.

The man/woman of your dreams, that is a world away, could end up being a bit of a nightmare. I'd, personally, play it safe and go with option 2. At least that way you end up with the degree... even if you don't end up with the lover.

Finish up the few months of your 2-year degree while working like mad to save enough, then bet the f

Decide to remain friends until you had the four year degree you had been aiming for, and then go aft

Drop school, work mad hours, and go get him/her as soon as possible?

Give up on the relationship completely, and just worry about school.
