If you were in a sexual rut! You've been married a long time, or living with someone, or just seeing someone. And, you notice things are not as they should be. One trick I tried once that worked famously:

I e-mailed my SO several times one day concerning sexual innuendos and a 'mystery location'. I wouldn't tell her the location we were headed when we left our home around midnight on a Friday. But the intentions were clear.
