if you were suddenly rich and money was no object...?

and why..?

A new vehicle, because mine is a lemon yet we owe too much to trade it in still.

a new house

i would stay here because i like the neighborhood and tear this place down and build another one that would be bigger.

i want to and need to add on the back of here. too bad money was no object.

I would also bring along a personal trainer, a chef, and a butler.:D :p

Hmm...
A new pair of pants. I just ripped one..

Tax Free Muni's

Hey, enough is never enough. Rich people never stop. It's a compulsion. Gotta go. Market close.

A new car, cuz mine is falling apart.

A queen sized bed, cuz mine is as old as I am and is falling apart.

Then I would take a vacation, don't know where I'd go, but I sure need one right about now. :D

A new home, some place with a little more privacy and a new motorcycle to ride on holiday in Europe, I've always wanted to ride down to the South of France.

One for the mother type person and her hubby,,,

One for my favorite uncle and his wife,,,

I'd love to live in a log cabin but their a littlr thin on the ground in the UK, hold a minute I'm stinking rich now, I'll just ship one over from the states or move there......YAY :D

The company I work for. Um, Mister CEO, would you mind stepping into my office for a second? Thanks. Close the door won't you? Here, have a seat....

Ah, I can dream can't I?

a crap loada plane tickets. I have soo many wonderful friends whom I love very very much spread across the US so I would most deffinatly go see each of em. :)

Pay off my bills, then...

Buy about 200 acres of land so I can plant any kind of tree I want. I want a garden where there's always at least one kind of fruit ripe and ready to pick. I could just stroll through and munch, sniffing the flowers. I'd leave 90% of the land forested, but cut out a little hole big enough for a camp fire for everybody to sit around drinking cold ones and telling tales. Of course there'd be the pond for skinny-dipping. My own personal paradise to pass on to my kids.

First thing? I'd probably go out to eat to celebrate becoming incredibly wealthy, maybe go the Trellis up in Williamsburg, order what ever the wife and I felt like, and go ahead and splurge on one of those seemingly way overpriced, extremely expensive bottle of wines that I've always been too poor to see if it actually tastes any better or different than Benzinger...

After that, some would go to the school I work at, some would go into investments to make sure the kids get to college, some would go to make sure my Mom has all she needs, then the fun could finally start. I'd probably be one of those fools who winds up with lots more cars than I need, I can see having...some type of big SUV like a Suburban, some "practical" sedan, probably a Jaguar, and then my two "fun" cars...a fully restored convertible Mustang ('65 or '66) and a 911 Turbo. Lots of my money would then be spent buying my wife and kids whatever their little hearts desired.

As you all probably know we have a national lottery over here now and every so often we have what we call a roll over, thats where no one has won that week and the money goes on to the next draw.

A few months ago there was a roll over and the prize went up to about £20 million, I was in a shop and buying my lottery ticket when I happened to mention to the shop owner that I liked it when one person won the whole thing rather than it being split between a whole group of people.

standing behind me was a woman in her 50's and as I had said it in a general kind of way she joined the talk and said she didn't think that any one person should be allowed to win more than £2 million, I looked at her and noticed that she to was waiting to buy a ticket and I asked her if she won was she going to give the other £18 million back

she never answered me.

I told that story to a friend and he said he could understand what that woman was on about, anyway he came out with the tired old one about people not being able to handle that kind of money

I asked him if he thought he could handle that kind of money, he laughed and said of coarse, I said what about me do you think I could handle having that kinda money, again he said yes so I said what about the people who live across the road from me, he looked unsure but said he didn't know.

So it seems your abillity to handle money is directly proportionate to how close you are to my friend at the time, I pionted it out to him and you know what...

No answer !!

Don't you just hate small minded jealous people, I mean if a person can't handle the money there's nothing to worry about, they'll soon lose it all, what really worry's people is that they will be that person.
