And speaking of sagging, you should see what my husband discovered when he pried up the plywood sheets that the previous owner had nailed to the floor in what's going to be our new family room.

Well EJ it could be Eilan's boobs that are being talked about. I had an aunt that had to bend over in order to roll her boobs into her bra - do believe that could also be called a slider type.

Well, he's had a chance to pull up some of the floorboards, and it looks like a shoddy construction issue. Right now he's pulling them up and numbering them so he can remember where they go. If he can save what's there, he will; if not, he's gonna rip it all up and replace it. At any rate, it's gonna set him back a week or so.

The house was built in 1949, BTW.

Huh, houses from that era usually have pretty good construction. Now when you get into the 70's and 80's watch out! There's a severe lack of pride in your work from that period.
