What has DEI to do with "destroying our culture"?

Here are the requirements to being an Attorney General;

"And there shall also be appointed a meet person, learned in the law, to act as attorney-general for the United States, who shall be sworn or affirmed to a faithful execution of his office; whose duty it shall be to prosecute and conduct all suits in the Supreme Court in which the United States shall be concerned, and to give his advice and opinion upon questions of law when required by the President of the United States, or when requested by the heads of any of the departments, touching any matters that may concern their departments, and shall receive such compensation for his services as shall by law be provided." - Federal Judiciary Act of 1789

You don't even have to be a degreed lawyer.

Whether it be the CIA, AG, Supreme Court, VP, or straight to the office of the presidency - These assholes MUST lower the bar of qualifications to square in their minds the lacking of qualifications to outright incompetence.

Oh my, what a marvelous grasp on reality you have. [/sarcasm]

There were no law schools in America then, but "learned in the law" is the period equivalent of a J.D. -- not just any graduate of one of the few colleges would be deemed to qualify.

Today learned in Law would definitely require at least some official recognition in legal knowledge. I mean there isn't anything at all preventing Donald Trump from assigning Kid Rock to the Supreme Court other than the Congress would stop him. There is nothing saying you have to be in Congress to be Speaker.

As I'm constantly stating the Constitution is really, really outdated.

It rewards incompetence.

I get that you were fed this BS but it does not reward, promote or cause incompetence in anyway shape or form. Especiallly since MANY of these jobs incompetence is incredibly difficult to gauge in any meaningful way.

Depending on where you live. I'm in Greater Seattle, where if there is a job opening and 5 people apply, the job WILL go to a minority, LBGTQ person and not to the most qualified.

That may very well be true. How many people just get promoted to that spot from within and goes straight toe the white guy? Without stats that's just just postulating. You have no proof, that's just something people like to say. I can't pull up stats for Greater Seatltle but I can pull up stats across the board in the US.

This sounds like something where it would be nice to have more transpareancy but that would be a pain by any metric.

There is very little racism and sexism on the Left.

If they didn't shit on white people, males and Christians they wouldn't be a political party.

Racism and sexism is their PRIMARY shtick..... it's literally all they do.

The failure of the right is pretty complete here.

Doesn't look like the right is failing.......literally the opposite.

If you feel like they are shitting on white people you really need to stop and take a look in the mirror.

Institutionalizing discrimination INCLUDING SEGREGATION against whites, for being white....is shitting on white people.

The only way you guys could be anymore racist would be openly advocating the enslavement or extermination of whites.... and that's a fairly popular progressive train of thought, though still a minority. Most "normal" democrats are perfectly fine with institutionalized racial discrimination and segregation....always have been, still are in 2024.

There is no segregation planned or implied against whites. You made that up.

Your entire persona is a victim mentality based on things that aren't happening anywhere. You guard all the doors, hold all the keys and take shits on the rest of us from so high it makes atheists believe in Armageddon. A person calls you out on it and that is apparently us shitting on you. More often than not you get away with whatever behavior you want whether its making fun of the disabled, grabbing women by the pussy, accusing Latin America of sending rapists, murderers, theives, the criminally insane (I feel like we'd notice if Joker was is in Austin) flooding us with drugs even though we know better.

I don't know if this is a character as the name Ultra Chad would imply. That you know this is bullshit and that's why you have latched on the totem of toxicity or if you are actually so lost that you don't realize that is the totem of hate.

If you want me to claim that Dems have ever done enough to fight institutionalized racial discrimination I can't. They have never done enough. However there are so many people like you that the second we even admit its a real thing you start crying that whites are under assault so unfortunately us minorities have to kinda take in on the chin. If we don't nothing will get done if instead of working on healthcare or minimum wage or whatever else is on the agenda that needs to be done. Its one or the other. I can spend four years convincing you that a better life for me doesn't mean a worse life for you or I can just accept the crap parts of life and generally improve things for others. Its a sad but needed sacrifice.

Remember when Obama had the overwhelming audacity to say if he had a son he might look like Treyvon? That all by itself was a step too far, radically divisive and apparently the first time many on the right had heard words like racism and white supremacist. I have a real hard time buying that most of them had never seen American History X but whatever.

Sucks but there it is.
