I think a lot of what we talk about is in this site. But I get what you are saying. Looks so matter. And that’s on both sides.
The one time for me that looks were a factor was a guy I was talking to looked just like my stepdad (no it wasn’t him! Pervs). It’s hard to talk naughty when all you can imagine is your dad! I’ve also had a few men that I’ve clicked with and eventually we video chat and then they ghost (mind you I’m always honest about my 2-hour glass figure). That hurts! So I feel for you.

Chemistry, not just sex, but banter on any level, can they hold a decent convo. true story , back in the day I sold a dating service match making right around the time Match came alone and personal computers took off. I would call in the office in the morning , get my leads and go about my business. Cost was $750 for a 6 month subscription. For that they got potential date suggestions based on a questionnaire I had to fill out using . On Friday morning all the sales reps would meet at the office in Tampa to do the match making process , round table like .

my commission was *50 present of that $750 , with a bonus if they renew In 6 months. My closing rate was always in the Top 3 or first place and @ close of a months numbers.

I closed a lot of businesses people that didn’t have time for dating or the bar scene. match and its peers changed that.
