What I really meant was is having sex the only reason you go out looking for a relationship/partner/BF/GF. Or are you looking for an actual life partner - someone who you share interests, do things with, etc. Of course SEX is an important part of a romantic relationship vs a friendship. Though at present the only person I have the rare sex with is a friend.

If I date, I'm doing so because I'm looking for an actual relationship, to find someone I want to share my life with in a meaningful way. If I'm merely horny, I'll rub one out. If masturbation won't satisfy and I feel I need sex, it'd be easier to just pay for it.
