what did you want to be when you was a kid?

Grown up.
Now that I'm grown up, I wish that I was a kid again.

Actually, I remember that as a kid I wanted to be a scientist and inventor.

Well actually , i wanted to be a cowboy , but bit difficult as I am female .......think it must be due to the farm existance I grew up in .......lol......

When I was in the 3rd grade, I wanted to be a nun.

Me, too ....... then I discovered ............ BOYS !!!!!!!!!! :D

Wonder Woman. Took me years to realize why you couldn't choose to be a superhero as your career.

I wanted to be an actress, a singer, and a teacher. Well, 1 out of 3 ain't bad! :)

Heathcliffs girl from Wuthering Heights.. Catherine...
yeah I know, kind of strange...;)

I wanted to work for National Geographic.

That or be Indiana Jones, which is hard cause I am female.

A children's librarian or a silent film researcher working in England with Kevin Brownlow. I did volunteer work for years in my son's schools, never did make it to England.

I wanted to be a famous chef and an actress and the Virgin Mary-damn Catholic school screwed me up. I have a degree in culinary arts, and spent three years in theater school, and my husband often shouts,"Holy Mother of God what were you thinking when you---- bought a weasel, made that, tasted what?, fil-in -the-blank"------so as an adult I have achieved all three in a modified way!

I wanted to be Zorro;

it must have been the cool black clothes.

The same thing I want to be now - a motorcycle adventurer; I wanted to get on a motorcycle and ride everywhere and anywhere.

A teacher, a singer, an actress, a writer, a doctor, a lawyer.
And many, many more.

So, of course, I am going to school for advertising!

But I still write!

When i was 7 I wanted to be a comic book artist.....

Now. I want to be one of the comic book hero's I've created Hawk-eye..... (he is bassed off of me anyways :))

I wanted to be in the military or a professional football player. Well, I was in the Navy for a while. Now I'm on a pro football team. Well, almost a team. We need more players to qualify, at least 24 and we've got 18. Don't ask, I don't have a position yet, though I'd like to be defense of some sort.

I wanted to be a teacher. In third grade, my grandfather brought home a blackboard from my elementary school. He was working with the company that was renovating the school and they were throwing all the blackboards away. He nailed mine to the walls on the back porch. I played out there ALL winter long. I would go inside when my hands were so cold I couldn't hold the chalk anymore.

Then I became a teenager and everyone (family, friends, teachers aaaaak) told me I would be a teacher. My stubborn nature kicked in and I said NO way. I got a useless degree in Psychology.

No I'm one semester away from a master's in education and I've been teaching the past three years.
