Have you ever listened to a song and wished you could ask the songwriter what he/she meant?

Here's one of mine

Song: Love and a 45

Songwriter: Chris Knight

Line: Love and a 45, they're all you need to keep you alive. One will kill you, one will keep you alive.

After listening to the whole song, I started to wonder...

Is it the gun that kills you and love that keeps you alive...
or the other way around??
