Cath!/*bratcat*/etc has always craved attention so badly that she made a big deal of her name changes. She's always flown the "even negative attention is better than no attention" flag. We could always trust her to tell us when she changed her name if only because she so badly wanted the attention her known persona got her and a newbie persona would not command.

Dangergirl denies knowing Cath!/*bc*/etc.

Therefore, i don't see how we can fail to give Dangergirl the benefit of the doubt in this. If she says, she's not Cath!, then she's not Cath!.

The gods help her if she's proved to be a liar in this, though.

Actually, it's possible if you're like me and you don't bother opening any of the threads that look like they're gonna be melodrama. The only reason I know about the whole deal there is because a friend mentioned it and had me go look at a couple of the threads...
